Shah Nematullah Vali or Seyyed Noor al-Din Nematullah bin Muhammad bin Kamal al-Din Yahya Kohbanani Mahani Kermani was one of the famous poets and mystics of Iran. Shah Nematullah is considered one of the great mystics of the 8th and 9th centuries of Hijri.

His new method in Sufism influenced the followers of other methods as well. In the path of Sufism, he is the founder of the famous Nematullahi dynasty, and he held a high position in the path of Tariqat. Shah Nematullah Wali was born in 731 AH. His father, Mir Abd Allah, was one of the noble Arabs, and his mother was considered to be Iranian. His lineage goes back nineteen generations to Muhammad bin Abdullah (pbuh) through Imam Jafar Sadiq (pbuh). His birth is considered by a group of Aleppo city and some historians of Kerman mountaineers. Now one of his descendants is known as Shah Nematullahi.
Shah Nematullah traveled in the countries of Egypt, Hijaz, Turkestan, and Iran and devoted himself to the publication of mysticism and Sufism. Shah Nematullah spent seven years with Sheikh Arif Yafi and learned a lot from his spiritual sciences and knowledge. He died in Mahan Kerman in 832 or according to one version in 834, and Shamsuddin Ibrahim Bami, the father of Seyyed Tahiruddin Bami, a mystic who was a contemporary of Shah Nematullah, prayed over his body. The life of Shah Nematullah Wali has been mentioned for 104 years, and he himself has stated that he was 97 years old. His body was buried in the tomb of Shah Nematullah Vali in Mahan city.

One of the recommendations and orders of Shah Nematullah Wali to his disciples was that in order to purify the heart and cultivate the soul, you should be in the service of the people, do not be short in the service of the people, and be present in the gathering. From this point, it can be concluded that he avoids isolation and reluctance and invites people to serve the people and participate in the community. Of course, it states that you should not close your heart to the world and its material things and prepare yourself for the journey of the hereafter. Abdul Razzaq Kermani writes about Shah Nematullah's belief in agriculture: "And they used to do agriculture from time to time. Unlike many worldly religious leaders in other sects, Shahwali emphasized on being present in the community, engaging in work and avoiding laziness. Of course, this was not only a moral order, but a part of his plans for the spiritual cultivation of his disciples.

Among his works, in addition to Divan poetry, we should mention the following: "Mahdiya" and "Knowledge of Self", "Explanation of Golshan Raz", "Nakat Saghir", "Maluk Minhaj", "Explanation of Sincerity" and "Explanation of Fatiha" and "Amant" and "Barzakhiya" and "Fiouzat" and...
Shah Nematullah's Diwan contains odes, ghazals, tarjiyats, matnaviyats, fragments, couplets and rubayats. It was narrated that one day Shah Wali took a piece of stone from the ground and gave it to a dervish and told him to take this stone to a jeweler and ask him how much this stone is worth. Because you can find out the price by taking a gem and returning it. When the dervish took that stone to the gem, he saw a piece of gem that he had never seen before in his life. Lal said the price was one thousand drams. Dervish took back the stone and returned it to the king. The Holy Prophet prayed over that stone, made a syrup, and each dervish tasted a drop and said: "Let's cure a hundred pains in the corner of the eye - we'll make the dirt of the road look like chemistry..."
This description of virtues and poems was published and distributed until Hafez Shirazi also heard it. He, who was a man of knowledge and a pure mystic, composed this sarcastic sonnet and said: "Those who make the soil look like chemistry - did they turn a blind eye to us?" - My pain lies with the plaintiff's doctors - may they heal me from the treasury of the unseen."
